AI Maturity Study 2026

Artificial intelligence has arrived in Swiss companies. So far, however, mainly the “low-hanging fruit” has been picked. Despite modest results to date, optimism and willingness to invest remain high. In the coming years, the integration of AI into core systems and critical processes will determine success or failure. While large enterprises are advancing in both usage and strategic anchoring of AI, many SMEs remain followers.

The first edition of the new study by ti&m and Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) shows which successes have already been achieved and which use cases are likely to be tackled next in different business areas.
