Automated people screening with the help of AI

With the ti&m Fit & Proper test, politically exposed persons can be assessed digitally for critical content. Bots perform autonomous Google searches and download the web pages of the search hits, which the artificial intelligence then checks for controversial content and confirms whether they really concern the person being searched for.

Image recognition

Using image recognition to improve baking results

A well-known international manufacturer of kitchen appliances, has started fitting its high-end ovens with high-resolution cameras. Machine learning processes are then used to precisely measure and segment the food based on the images, and optimize the baking process accordingly. The ti&m team developed the sophisticated models on the Terraform ML platform using the full range of ML tools provided, from image labeling, data pipelines and experiment tracking to model monitoring. The models are installed directly on the appliances once trained, and therefore work completely offline.

Usage forecasting and anomaly detection

SUISA Mint Digital Services represents a large number of domestic and foreign artists vis-à-vis major streaming platforms, such as Spotify and Apple Music. These platforms deliver monthly streaming figures for every song, based on which the artists’ financial claims are calculated. This involves huge amounts of data from streams, songs and other works that all have to be recognized and processed by SUISA. With the help of machine learning, we are helping SUISA to detect anomalies in the numbers and predict how the streaming behavior will develop in the coming months.
